| To make sure that you are getting a genuine HP cartridge, look out for the new colour shifting HP security seal. This seal is placed across the perforated tear strip of the HP LaserJet cartridge pack and on the side of an inkjet cartridge pack. |

| Check for the genuine HP print cartridge security seal |
|
|
- Locate the HP security label affixed to the box of your toner or ink purchase.
- Turn the box side to side and see the colours switch between dark and light.
- When the background is dark, half of the lettering "ORIGINAL TONER" or "ORIGINAL INK" will be light and vice versa.
